Course Information
English for Academic Purpose (EAP) prepares you for tertiary study by giving you all the skills you need to succeed at a tertiary level. The course covers reading, speaking, writing, listening, grammar plus electives.

It will give you skills in Research Techniques, Academic Level Reading, Study Skills, Essay Writing and Presentation Skills. Students that successfully complete EAP at Viva College will be guaranteed automatic entry into a number of programs at partner institutions without the need for IELTS.

EAP Exit Level Grading System
A Level Pass = equivalent to IELTS 6.5+
B Level Pass = equivalent to IELTS 6.0
C Level Pass = equivalent to IELTS 5.5

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of Viva College's Preparation for EAP OR
Successfully complete the Level Placement Test conducted on the first day at Orientation or on Wednesdays at 3.00pm.
