Focus English Night and IELTS Night

$195 per week with 2+1 (pay for two weeks, get the third free). Terms apply.

There are six levels of English at Viva College, each of which is taught over a twelve week period and Progress tests are held every four weeks.

After your test during Orientation, we review your progress and decide the most suitable class for you. Every class at Viva College has a planned and structured syllabus.

This means that all core classes will focus on presentation and practice in all macroskills of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. You will also study relevant grammar and vocabulary topics at each level.

At certain levels, you will have the option to complement your studies with electives. The focus of all elective classes is to offer practice in different skill areas - for example, Viva Talk focuses on speaking fluency and Academic English focuses on the skills required for academic study at College or university.

Your core class teacher is an expert in English language teaching and will get to know you well. We encourage you to discuss your English language development, your class and study plans with your teacher.

Once you reach an Intermediate level of higher, you have the option to take specialised courses such as Smart Talk, IELTS, Cambridge or English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
