This course is registered with the Nationally Recognised Training and is recognized all over Australia as one of the requirements for English teachers in accredited colleges. It will greatly improve your chances of securing work in many countries around the world. It provides students with a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of TESOL.

Course Content:
  1. Use the Terminology of Traditional Grammar
  2. Identify and use Basic Grammatical Concepts and Traditional Meta language
  3. Design and Develop Learning Resources
  4. Design and Develop Learning Strategies
  5. Plan an Integrated Lesson using Communicative Language Teaching Methodology
  6. Apply Adult TESOL Methodologies to Develop English Language skills

      8 weeks (25hours per week)

Course Fees:

$3160 ($2900 course + $100 materials + $160 enrolment fee)

Entry Requirements:

Current Viva College Students:

  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Completed Viva College Upper Intermediate (5) level + teacher’s report/ recommendation
  • Plus interview with Director of Training (DOT)

External students:

  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
  • Required to do an entry test and interview with Director of Training (DOT)
