Nightlife/Pubs
There are many places to eat, drink, relax and enjoy yourself in Brisbane. The most popular area for nightlife is the city area around Queen Street Mall and Fortitude Valley.Most establishments are open to 3am, some nightclubs remain open until 5am. You must be over 18 to drink alcohol in Australia and to enter bars and pubs. Remember to bring your passport as proof of age.

Shopping
The most popular shopping area in Brisbane is the Queen Street Mall right outside Viva College. The Queen Street Mall has over 650 stores and hosts some of the world's most exclusive retail stores. Fortitude Valley is also well known for its unique designer and boutique stores.
There are also many weekend markets not too far from Viva College at Southbank, Riverside, Fortitude Valley, Kelvin Grove and at New Farm Park. Most suburbs also have a large shopping centres, some include Chermside (Largest in QLD), Indooroopilly, Carindale, Garden City & the Logan Hyperdome. These centres are usually open 7 days a week.
